It is a time consuming ritual and a proper navavarana puja could take anywhere between 3 to 4 hours. Sri Yantra is the place where the Divine Mother is said to reside along with Her spouse Shiva in the centre of the Yantra. The yantra consists of several triangles and each of them representing one goddess. Before reaching the central bindu (dot) where Divine Mother resides, one has to worship all other deities in the yantra. These deities represent several energies required for our sustenance. Finally the Divine Mother is worshipped in the centre, who is said to be the controller of this universe. Mental navavarana purja is done through meditation which is supposed to yield quick results. In general, the benefits accruing on Sri Yantra navavarana puja is many fold. It not only gives material prosperity, but also leads one to the ultimate salvation.
