""U.S. Navy SEALs hands down. They are the most dynamic and elite warriors in the world.""
Response:
SEAL'S are a specialized military groundbreaking unit , yet they can't be considered a genuine ground force, and their size of force is small and specialized. SEALS endure physical and mental punishment which is unprecedented during the course of their training regime.
The world famous KGB of Russia and the SAS of the UK are less infamous than the SEALS, yet they lack next to none in their potency, are hard battled, tested and are less dependent on technology. Both training regimes require different methodologies. Both, like the SEALS are small specialized military groups and can't be genuinely regarded as the best ground force.
When we talk of "best ground forces" it becomes an entirley different situation.
We all like to believe the security of our own armed forces (and we must) but there are those who are willing to compare against other nations. This is entirely wrong. Each country situation is completely different so no country or culture stands apart in this matter.
Australian, Indian, South African and New Zealand army's during the the great wars were incredibly efficient on the ground and sought after by the likes of the US, UK and French. Russian soldiers during the war were the machine, relentless with help from their USSR comrades striking from the East. There wasn't just the above, each and every brave individual risked their lives from all kinds and gave us the opportunity to live to our present day.
In terms of the overall structure of an army ground unit today (from 1948 to present), Israel is probably the most established ground fighting unit known in the modern world, certainly the most efficient and incredibly forceful.
I am discussing ground force efficiency, not global dominance in compliance to super powers of the modern or past world.
US Army General Pershing led US Ground Forces in France in WW One. General John "Black Jack" Pershing
British Paratroopers, they are one of the best fighting forces in the world, The British Paras Train SAS Troops, surely they are one of the most specialist, focused and lethal forces in the world.
Coalition aircraft may have when striking ground targets. Ground troops simply ejected Iraqi forces from Kuwait...which was the mission.
No. Not even close. The toughest and best Special Forces are British SAS, American Delta Force,Green Beret and Marines' Force Recon
The entry of the United States into World War I affected the war's outcome profoundly: the additional naval, air, and especially ground unit entering the conflict gave the western allies a clear advantage over German forces. It can safely be said that the American contribution not only hastened the end of the war; it ensured it.
The USA has definitely got the best naval forces in the world.
The Gurkha Rifles are not Special Forces. They are an elite infantry unit and are certainly among the best soldiers in the world, but were never classed a Special Forces
Nigeria military is the best in the world
the Irish special forces are not the best in the world but usually come 3rd or 4th
