I'm from Montreal and I can easily answer your question:The best place to learn French in Quebec is the Saguenay-Lac St-Jean region (city of Saguenay - before cities of Chicoutimi-Jonquière-La Baie now merged. .....Simply because it's French at 99.8 %.......English is spoken by very few people. The French accent and some words are different of the rest of Quebec but some expressions are so beautiful................Joe Clark, the former Prime Minister of Canada and many other important people have been there to learn their French.. It's also the most separatist region of Quebec.....Go there for few months...Youy will speak french for sure.....rejear Bonne chance!
