It is in stable middle age. It is converting hydrogen into helium by thermonuclear fusion. It is about 5 billion years old and will run out of hydrogen in another 5 billion years. Then it will become a red giant, with a radius which will engulf the inner planets - possibly including the earth. This stage will last a relatively short time before the sun runs out of helium. It will then blow off its outer layer while its core will collapse into a white dwarf.
The Sun started out in a Stellar Nebulae, then became a Protostar. Afterwards, it gained enough hydrogen and pressure to start hydrogen fusion. Once that occurs, the sun entered its Main Sequence, which it will be on for about another 4 billion years. Then it will become a Red Giant, and finally blow away its outer layers in a Planetary Nebulae, which leaves behind an ultra-dense core of carbon called a White Dwarf.
It will begin to expand into a red giant in roughly 4 billion years.
it is born . it burns for a long time. then it will eventually die. the earth has the same fate.
Red giant, planetary nebula, white dwarf, black dwarf
The sun doesn't evolve.

The moon has different phases that it passes through, just like we have different phases in our lifetimes.
If you were located in the Andromeda galaxy, our Milky Way galaxy would appear to you as a large, dim, fuzzy patch of haze in the sky. When you looked at it through binoculars it would look larger and less dim. Through a large telescope, you'd see that it's a far-off collection of hundreds of billions of stars, but you wouldn't be able to pick out any individual stars. The sun would be one of those hundreds of billions of stars. You couldn't see it separately from the others, any you'd have no way at all to detect planets orbiting any of the stars in that far-off galaxy.
Technically yes ... because there are atoms of hydrogen and specks of dust here and there ... but for all practical purposes, drag is zero. That's why, after all these millions and billions of years of plowing through whatever is there, the earth has not yet lost its orbital energy and fallen into the sun.
The moon turns different colors because of refraction of the Sun's light, either directly or indirectly, through the Earth's atmosphere.
Shadows change when the sun moves in the sky because it hits objects from different directions, which causes them to cast a different shadow.

Plot order. A staple of postmodernism is emphasizing the difference between narrative (plot) order and chronological order. In postmodernism, events in a story do not need to occur in chronological order.

From a scientific view: No, probably not, dog DNA is too different from humans to, even through billions and billions of years, evolve (or as you say "mutate") into humans... or "human dogs". From a religious/intelligent design view: ...Still no.
