Bit locker
It should say
THere is no such OS called windows premium., but in vista there are many flavours called vista basic, home premium and vista ultimate. In these variations the higher you go the more extra features u get and obviously the more you pay for it. LIke vista basic does have windows aero and home premium does not have dream scenes, bit locker etc which ultimate has., but the basic OS is the same. :)
There are different versions of Vista as well as 32-bit and 64-bit for each. To switch from 32-bit to 64-bit you would have to make sure that you have 64-bit compatible hardware and would have to purchase a 64-bit version of Vista.
Every Windows Distribution is writen in binary non Open Source files. By the way, there are different versions of Windows Vista: Windows Vista 64-bit and Windows Vista 32-bit. Windows Vista 64-bit or x64 can work with 64-bit AMD Processors.
i assume you are trying to say "versions"= Vista Starter(This is only in 32 bit version), Vista Basic, Vista Home Premium, Vista Business, Vista Ultimate, all of them in 32 bit or 64 bit versions. or if you really mean "Types" of vista then you are talking about 32 bit and 64 bit= 2 Types

I previously posted that Organizer does not run under Vista, but that answer was incomplete and misleading. It turns out that it does work on the 32-bit Vista platform, but not on the 64-bit Vista that I'm running. Sorry for the confuion.
No.
Yes; you must use an upgrade disk, and it has to be the same "bit" that your current OS is (e.g. 32-bit upgrades to 32-bit, 64-bit upgrades to 64-bit).
