IMEI numbers are like identity codes that are unique to each GSM phone. This cannot be changed nor can be deleted. And if a phone is reported as stolen, then even if the unlock code is correct, you still cannot use it unless the owner of the phone calls to his/her service provider to which the phone is locked to and report to them that the phone is already found.
The IMEI number is the unique identifier for each handset (whether a Blackberry or any other handset) Every network has the ability to block this number thus rendering the handset useless. Unlike a blocked SIM card, the IMEI number is blocked by the network, rather than the individual handset, and once blocked, this renders the handset useless - changing the SIM will have no effect !
it goes straight to there voice mail
No it wont... the blackberry service is registered to your sim card../number. it will... there are steps on how to do it... i'm still looking for it... i am able to activate my new sim with the same blackberry...
You can't write a message on someone else's message board if you are blocked. Though, if you did manage to write a message on someone's board, there is no way to know if they read it or received it or not.
If the number is blocked by someone else (ie you are trying to dial to someone else) you would either need to use a new number or call them and ask them to unblock it. If the number is blocked from being called by your phone provider, you would need to talk with them to have it unblocked. If the number is blocked from being called by your fax machine, you would need to consult your user manual as each machine is different in its settings.
where is the serial number for the blackberry storm located?
You can't.
The number of followers that the Blackberry UK Twitter account has will change on a daily basis. As of 4/27/2013, the account has 122,937 followers. To check the number of followers, one can find the answer on their Twitter page.
Yes... when you send a text message - if the other phone accepts the message - it sends a 'ping' back to you - to let you know it reached its destination. If someone has blocked your number, the 'ping' cannot happen - and the network will state 'message failed'.
I have to do what I stupidly did. How di I accept calls from a restricted number. I blocked them, but now I cannot reverse what I did. I *77 it, but now i want to reverse that. Is there another * number?
The number can certainly be blocked.
if their number is blocked more than likely it is junk mail
