Artery
There are two main arteries carrying blood away from the heart the pulmonary artery and the aorta
arteries.
Blood arrives into the righ atrium of the heart via the Vena Cava, it is then pumped into the right ventricle. From there it is pumped to the lungs via the pulmonary artery. The blood becomes oxygenated in the lungs, and arrives in the left atrium of the heart via the pulmonary veins. It is then pumped into the left ventricle. From here it is pumped to the rest of the body via the aorta.
So the answer is: Pulmonary artery and the aorta carry blood away from the heart
