The blood vessel that carries blood away from the liver is the portal vein. The portal vein carries blood from the small intestine and other digestive organs directly to the liver.
Hope this helps guys and girls.
Blood gets to the two ways. There is what we call nutritional blood supply, which is ensured by proper hepatic artery (branching off common hepatic artery, which is a branch of coeliac artery (celiac trunk). Then there is a portal circuit, e.g. hepatic portal vein, which brings blood rich in nutrients from gastrointestinal organs (e.g. intestines, stomach, etc.) and spleen to the liver, where the nutrients are removed from the blood. The third vessel is inferior vena cava, where the "nutrient" free blood flows to get to the heart, lungs and back to the body.
In liver cancer patients, the doctor may be able to hear an abnormal sound (bruit) or rubbing noise if he uses a stethoscope to listen to the blood vessels that lie near the liver.
No and Yes. The circulatory does contain blood vessels- cappilaries, arteries, and veins. But the circulatory system does not contain the liver, the liver is part of the digestive system.
The hepatic veins are blood vessels located in the liver. ... Trauma: Injury to the hepatic veins can lead to blood clot formation

Only within the blood vessels. And there are many, many of those.
vaguely speaking it's "HEPARIN".
High blood pressure (hypertension ) from scar tissue in the liver causes swelling of and bleeding from the blood vessels of the esophagus.

the liver
It is possible to divide the liver into eight pieces, each supplied by a different set of blood vessels.
There are four main types of blood vessels in the human body. There are arteries which are elastic vessels that transport blood away from the heart. Then there are veins which are elastic vessels that transport blood to the heart. Next, there are capillaries which are extremely small vessels found within the body tissues that transport blood from the arteries to the veins. And last, there are the sinusoids which are extremely small vessels found in the liver, the spleen, and in bone marrow.
