Martin Luther King acquired his name when his father, a Baptist minister, changed both their names to honor the German Protestant reformer Martin Luther.
Martin Luther King, along with his son, Martin Luther King, Jr. were both Baptist ministers. To the best of my knowledge they had nothing to do with the Catholic Church.
Both Gandhi and Martin Luther King Jr. are the same because they both wanted nonviolence. that is all I know :) !
they both have kids
In due course his father, Martin Luther King Sr. changed both of their names to Martin to honor the German Protestant, Martin Luther.
Starting Protestantism and founding the Lutheran movement are both credit to Martin Luther and for this reason Luther had a bigger impact then Magellan.
They both influenced many people and rebelled against the main and 'normal' ideas of the church or government.
They were both religious.
jhon willks both
The two only share a common first name, but their last names are completely different. One is 'Luther' the other is 'King', and one lived in the 1500s, and the other from 1928 (in utero) to April 4, 1968. One was German and the other American. One was white and the other black. They are in no way related if I haven't made it clear enough. Martin Luther King Jr's father, Martin Luther King, was named after Martin Luther.
Martin Luther King, Jr.'s father, Martin Luther King, Sr., died on November 11, 1984. Martin's mother, Alberta Williams King, died on June 30, 1974.
