The Transmission fluid should be changed every 30,000 miles or 24 months whatever comes first
The 2006 Hyundai Elantra GT fuel filter is located inside the gas tank. This type of fuel filter does not need to be changed on a regular maintenance basis. It should definitely be changed if you're replacing the fuel pump (the filter is integrated with the fuel pump as an "assembly").
Trans looks like it is bad in 2001 Hyundai plantar, liquid in garage floor. Can it be from lack of gear oil I changed axle and lost some fluid
Depends on the climate, conditions it's driven in and the oil you use. Consult the owners manual.

If you changed the right one the one before the converter then it should go off but you must erase it from the OBD yourself using a scan tool or taking it to somebody.
I have a 2002 Elantra and the timing belt was changed by the dealer at 60,000 per the maintenace schedule.
Its because you are low on brake fluid which means you have a leak or that your brakes are worn down and need to be changed soon.
2002 Hyundai Elantra gls has no transmission oil pan, to have your transmission oil changed you have to go to the Hyundai dealer. if you mean the engine oil pan, facing the front of the car, it's off of left center underneath the front of the car, you can tell by feeling in back for the oil plug. the oil filter is also left front underneath on the passenger side of the car. there is a little cover with 2 screws, remove the cover to remove the oil filter. after replacing the oil filter replace the cover.
Hundreds of dollars. Maybe $200 for a small shop to $600+ at a dealership. It involves all of the work required to change a timing belt, which is a good reason to have the timing belt changed at the same time.
Hyundai states the 2001 hyundai accent vehicle manual of timing belt replacement timing belt on an accent should be changed every 60, 000 miles.

Assuming the Elantra is similar to the Accent....I bought new wiper blades from Wal Mart today and changed them on my 2003 Accent. There is a small lever where the blade connect to the wiper arm...depress lever and slide the entire blade toward the bottom of the arm. You might have to exert a bit of pressure. Once off, slide the new blade in the opposite direction and it should snap right on.
Check battery voltage--With engine running it should be 13.8-14.2
I have a 2000 elantra i changed my timing belt at 82000 miles i put an aftermarket belt in my car , who told you you should've put a factory belt in, a Hyundai dealer? my car now has 115000 miles on it, don't't let it keep you up at night generic pills are just as good as the name brand get the pointAnswerHyundai wants to sell THEIR auto parts to make more money for Hyundai. Of COURSE they'll tell you to buy their parts, and they'll spread rumors about how much harm it will do to your car if you don't. In reality, you're better off trusting the people who make a lot of belts. Goodyear makes fine products. Don't loose any sleep over it.
According to the Gates website ( they make timing belts etcetera ) For the 1.6 litre four cylinder engine in a 2005 Hyundai Accent ( the timing belt is changed at 60,000 miles )
go to the dealer as it is a special fluid, yous should take it in every 25000 kilometers and it cost about 90.00 in Canada. They just drain it from the drain pan so not all the fluid is drained out of the torque converter, YOUR MANUAL GIVE YOU THE QUANTITY ALSO
The previous name of Pakistan was Pakistan , and then later changed to Islamic Republic of Pakistan (by Mulla lovers).
Most Hyundai cars in the USA have black, grey oor neutral colored interiors if bought brand new. However, you can go to an auto customizer and get your Hyundai cars interior color changed.
The 2002 Accent booklet states that the Timing Belt should be changed at 60,000 Miles.
