To remove it, you need a 3/8" HEX KEY. It's gonna suck, trust me. I ended up putting the key in horizontally,putting my foot on it, my knee against the upper wheel well, and using my ankle to break it free

"Caliper anchor bolts" hold the brake caliper on, they require a 3/8" Allen wrench to remove.

Begin by removing the tire and wheel from your 1993 GMC. Remove the brake spring and the brake caliper. The brake shoes will come off. Reverse the process to install your new brake shoes.

Rear brake hose, but their are 2 models. 1 is RJ2 that has a banjo bolt.
Lift the car on a jack, remove the tire, remove the brake shoe/caliper, and remove the old brake pad. Put in the new brake pad, replace the brake show/caliper, replace the tire and lower the car to the ground.

There was never a recall issue or a major problem with uneven brake pad wear on the 2004 GMC Yukon. This can sometimes be a caliper issue, a driving issue, or even a brake assembly issue but it is not a common problem.
Check brake fluid to make sure it has not gone dry, if so then will require a total bleed brake system. Have the brakes been replaced recently? Could have a piston in the caliper stuck, which will then require to pull that caliper and replace it but then look at doing both.
