black or brown? does the water look like it has oil in it? That sounds like a cracked block, did the car overheat recently, How is it running right now? If it is running really bad then do a compression check. You could have a blown head gasket to. I just went though that and replaced the motor in my 94 sl1. Good Luck!!

Ewwwwww not good. Looks like you have a blown head gasket and oil is squeezing up the piston bores and through the crack in the gasket into the coolant jacket. I don't know any other way it could get there. Take off your oil filler cap and see if you have a brown foamy sludge in there.
