Is there a bus from Boston to Rutland, Vt.
South Burlington, VT
The driving distance is about 155km / 97 miles.
Burlington, VT -- BTV. It's about 75 miles from Montreal's YUL. While there is a recently-opened, small regional airport about 30 miles closer, there aren't many flights from/to it, and I imagine the prices are on par with YUL. So, if you really want to avoid those international taxes, Burlington is your best bet. The greyhound will run you right down to Rue Berry, but the closest station in VT is (apparently) 10 minutes away from the Burlington airport. So you'd cab to the bus, ride the bus a few hours, and then arrive in central Montreal. Hope this helps.
It is 96.3 miles according to Google Maps.
