I have a 1991 GTA, take off the plastic cover where your hood release is [by your left drivers foot], behind that is the body of the car. you will see a black rubbery square cover. It's kind of like resin. peel it back, and you will be able to see a black plastic box with thick purple & orange wires and maybe a yellow & black stripe on one. These are all related to your starting system. Pop that plastic cover off with a screwdriver. You will find a contact. If you squeeze the contact and hold it while turning the key your car should start.
It is listed in the 1991 Pontiac Firebird Operations Manual
What parts??? Body, engine, suspension???

A firebird can't "have" third gen. It either is or is not a third generation firebird, and Yes, a 1991 is a third generation.

I have a 1990 Pontiac firebird, and the gap on that, I believe is .035. If you still have the sticker under your hood with the engine size, it says it right on there.
