I'd try running a CD lens cleaner. You might just have some crud on it.
Further than that, I'd take it to an auto audio shop. Those guys
are pretty sharp and can tell you if you need a replacement
radio or not.
TAKE THE CD PLAYER OUT AND APART ITS THE ONLY WAY WITHOUT DAMAGING THE CD PLAYER
You need to clean the laser lens.
Buy a new radio and install it
This is sort of a guess, but I would say no. My '96 has only the cassette player/radio. I think that the CD player was an option or an after market addition. FriPilot
take your CD Player to a shop to get it fixed
change the batteries
We have a 2005 jeep rubicon and the cd player isn't working how can we fix it?
CD player has nothing to do with the cd play tune unless the cd has some problem and its not working properly. It can be scratches on cd or something like that.
CD is stuck in the changer. very common if CD has a "stick on label".
A cd player is a compound machine because it has more than one object working with it.
Try checking the owner's manual for the CD player if you have it. Otherwise, I'd take it to a local car stereo shop. You can do some real damage to the player if you start stickin' a knife or something in there. (been there, done that)
why is my cd say cd in when there is no cd in player
