Opaque
You cant see through opaque things, but you can see through transparent things.
Transparent. I was looking for this word and it just came to me.
It is because that is what transparent means!
transparent. translucent is partially obstructed and opaque is letting no light through.
The opposite of translucent is opaque. Opaque materials do not allow light to pass through them, whereas translucent materials allow some light to pass through but not enough to see clearly through them.
Transparent is when something is completely see through, such as normal windows you find. Opaque is when something is only partially see through, I think another work for this is translucent, but im not entirely sure. An example is something such as a net curtain, which is'nt completely transparent, but you are able to see through it.
If you can see through something it is considered 'transparent'. You can see through most wiremesh.
Translucent windows allow some light to pass through but obscure the view, providing privacy while still allowing natural light in. Transparent windows allow light to pass through and provide a clear view of the outside, offering no privacy.
That is the correct spelling of "see-through" (which can apply to material that is transparent, or flimsy, or shows through when wet).
you can see through transparent objects. :) <3
see-through means transparent
Transparent means see-through. If a person is transparent, you can see exactly what is going on in their head.
