You will be responsible for any repairs at this point. If you have high mileage and are concerned about overall condition of the engine, have a trusted mech do a compression and leak down test. Choose someone you TRUST.
If its a new mower take it back to where you bought for warranty If you mess with it you will forfeit your warranty.
I have a 85 Nissan truck,2.4,I bought it, (ENGINE) from jasper engines.com,it has a 3 year warranty and 150,000 mile warranty,Ive had it since June,it runs great,I also bought a webbercarb. direct.com,MY TRUCK RUNS BETTER THAN NEW,GOOD LUCK.
It depends. Was the car sold as is or with a warranty? If it was sold with a warranty, it should be repaired. If your state has a lemon law, you may be able to get a full refund.
If it is a brand new engine take it back to where you bought it. Because if you do anything to you will void your warranty.
Not if you bought the car "As Is" with no warranty either implied or written. That is what the term "As Is" means. If you bought it as is then you are stuck unless you can prove the seller knew the engine had damage and hid that fact from you. You might then prevail in a court of law.
It depends on the warranty and on the make and the model of the vehicle.
Only Dodge will honor the warranty.
No. Your cars warranty is for the engine and body parts for replacement.
If you have modified anything on the engine (or engine perpormance)... NO!
The engine control module is covered in the powertrain warranty for your Kia. The engine control module should be covered for 100,000 miles.
Nope
I would take the car back to the dealer anyways. And if you have a warranty then that will help out alot. My uncle bought a Dodge Neon and it was almost a year old and it had to have it's engine replaced and they put in a new one and did not charge him a penny! I am not for sure if he had a warranty or not on it. But most dealers will work with you. Good luck and God Bless:)
