Some do and some don't it counts on their behaviour.
Put the dog on a lead whilst passing chickens and every time your dog tries to go them pull back on the lead and use a Stern "NO"
The minimum number of chickens that should be raised together is at least two chickens . I have two chickens and they get along great!!!
they don't go well together i've had rabbits and chickens. one of my rabbits killed a chicken and injured another.
Umm... depending on how you train your dog has a BIG impact on weather it can guard chickens or not. We taught mine to hunt or kill small animals such as chickens so my dog couldn't possible guard chicken without eating them. But if you train your dog to guard chickens he could guard them but there is a small possibility that it may eat the chickens since that is what it was initially bred for.
You can put them together right when the chicks are old enough to go in the coop. They will meet the other chickens when they are ready.
You can feed chickens dog food; chickens are omnivorous and eat almost anything. The only drawback to feeding dog food to chickens is that it is more expensive than feeding them grain and other purely vegetarian type food.
You trap them by using a dog
There are some things you can do to discourage them from killing the chickens but it will never be safe for them to be with chickens without supervision. If you teach the dog a good recall then you will be able to call the dog away anytime it attempts to chase and kill a chicken and you could reward calm behavior (such as lying down and ignoring the chickens). But depending on the dog's prey dive they may never be able to be around chickens safely so use your judgement and keep the chickens safety in mind when trying to train him to be around them.
It depends on what type of dog it is and it depends on how aggressive or not the dog is. Mostly though most dogs will not eat a chicken, they will just be curious. I suggest you hold on to your dog by the collar or leash and just let them watch the chickens for a while. If you feel that maybe your dog won't attack the chickens, try and bring the dog a little closer. If dog tries to attack and eat the chickens, tell the dog NO! or whatever else you do to make the Dog learn.
yes
A small one.
A brood of chickens, a peep of chickens, a flock of chickens.
