No.
The fuel system on a 2003 is self bleeding, just start cranking the engine.
The power rating for the 2003 model year Cummins diesel engine is 305 hp and 555 pound feet of torque. This was the 5.9L Inline-6 turbo diesel engine from Cummins.
On a 2003 Dodge Cummins truck with a HO engine is rated at 305hp, with the SO engine it is 250hp. BTW there is no "g" in Cummins. ;)
The difference is in the injectors and engine computer. You can not tell by looking at the engine.
Need to know what engine you have in order to answer this. In 2003, Freightliner had the option of Detroit, Cummins, Caterpillar, and Mercedes-Benz diesel engines.
Check the under hood fuse box.
The usually have 5000 to 7000 psi at start up.
Yes the block will fit if you have the 03 engine mounts, you will have to have some knowlege on wiring to make everything work on the electrical side of things
The 2003 is self bleeding. All you have to do is crank until it starts. If it is not starting then the lift pump is bad, or there is a leak in the supply line.
2006 was the last year of the best Diesel ever made 5.9 cummins engine 2003 was the last 5.9L V8
It might bolt up, but it will not work with out major modifications.
You start by removing the fuel pump, installation is the reverse of removal.
