A .410 shotgun is close to .45 caliber and a .30 caliber projectile would tumble in the bore. You are not likely to even be able to chamber the round, and even if you managed to do so, it would be unsafe due to higher pressures in rifle cartridges.
A 410 shotgun is basically a 41 caliber smoothbore. A 45 caliber round may fit in the chamber, but the bullet is too big. Don't do it.
No. But there WAS a submachinegun in caliber .22 Long rifle that fired 1200 rounds per minute, known as the American 180.
No, they won't even come close to fitting. Why not buy .38 shotshells.
American Heavy Machine Guns in WW2 fired .30 caliber rounds. The .50 caliber machine gun was 0.50 caliber which is 1/2-inch diameter and about 2 inches long. The shell before firing is about 6 inches in length.
yes a rifled shotgun barrel or smooth shotgun barrel
a bullet of the same caliber and same grains of powder fired from a long barrel will have a higher muzzle velocity than if fired from a short barrel.
NO!!! DO NOT ATTEMPT THIS!!!
Not recommended for full choke
No.
Impossible to answer without knowing whether it is a rifle, shotgun or handgun and what caliber/gauge, finish.
The American 180 was a submachinegun in caliber .22LR that fired 1200 rounds per minute. If not the highest, has to be in the top 10.
12 gauge "bean bag" rounds can be fired from any conventional 12 gauge pump shotgun with a cylinder choke barrel. All you need to do is to purchase this type of shotgun a local gunshop or sporting goods retailer.
