Yes, off course. However, with the math background that most architecture programs require, they probably wont be able to go too in depth in structural engineering. I'm an undergrad in civil eng. focusing on structures. Although structural engrs work closely with architects, the field itself is a very unique and technical and deals with alot of math, mechanics (statics, dynamics, mech. of materials, vibration,...)... Bottom line, anybody in the technical fields can study structural engr, but to BECOME a structural engineer, you most likely need a masters degree, PE license, as well as the SE license. AKA [lotsaa work] but cool stuff if you like it!
Architectural Engineering places emphasis on architecture with some study of engineering principles. Structural engineering is a branch of civil engineering and does not necessarily rely on an architectural background.

The engineering firm Beca Group not only provided the design management and coordination but also structural, geotechnical, civil, mechanical, electrical, Plumbing, lighting and fire engineering services. Craig Craig Moller Ltd. was the architect for this project.
Any engineering field that interests you. There are all kinds (structural, computer, electrical, mechanical, metallurgical, chemical engineering etc. ad nauseam).
Devry is a great online and campus college that offers this program. You can find them on their website at http://www.devry.edu/Get_Info/ Structural Engineering for more information on your particular field of study.
Yes you may but not in the capacity of a structural designer. This is because of the fundamental difference between the training received by engineers and architects. An architect is trained to design the esthetics's, functionality, use, layout, etc of a building, whereas the engineer designs the structural components i.e. the foundations, columns, beams, etc. Additionally, to design the structural aspects of a building requires a professional engineer (PE) classification which is not offered to architects. In conclusion, if an architect was to work in a engineering firm he would be essentially be a draftsman unless its an architect & engineer (A&E) firm. This explanation could have been long and tedious but i hope this abbreviated version helped.
The architect of the Petronas Towers was Cesar Pelli, the developer was KLCC Holdings Sdn Bhd, and the structural engineer was Thornton Tomasetti. The contractors were Hazama Corporation, Samsung Engineering and Construction, and Kukdong Engineering and Construction.
A great way to become a structural engineer is to get a college degree in Civil Engineering. Structural engineering is a part of the Civil Engineering field. A license is also required to be a structural engineer.
First study like an architect...or study some architectural drawings..
No, Structural Engineering is though.
