No Buddhist who understands the Buddha's teaching thinks that other religions are wrong. no-one who has made a genuine effort to examine other religions with an open mind could think like that either. The first thing you notice when you study the different religions is just how much they have in common. All religions acknowledge that man's present state is unsatisfactory. All believe that a change of attitude and behaviour is needed if man's situation is to improve. All teach an ethics that includes love, kindness, patience, generosity and social responsibility and all accept the existence of some form of Absolute.
Once there was a man called Upali. He was the follower of another religion and he went to the Buddha in order to argue with him and try to convert him. But after talking to the Buddha, he was so impressed that he decided to become a follower of the Buddha. But the Buddha said:
"Make a proper investigation first. Proper investigation is good for a well-known person like yourself."
In Buddhism, understanding is the most important thing and understanding takes time. So do not impulsively rush into Buddhism. Take your time, ask questions, consider carefully, and then make your decision. The Buddha was not interested in having a large number of disciples. He was concerned that people should follow his teachings as a result of a careful investigation and consideration of the facts.

Why wouldn't you want to learn about other religions? Learning about other religions is learning about how other people view the world around them. To think that your views about the world on your surrounding is the RIGHT way or the only True way is just ignorant. Just because your elders have taught you a certain truth as it pertains to them doesn't mean that is a truth to what others believe.
so we can learn about other religions such as witchcraft and be more tolerent towards them
