No you cannot let dogs drink Clorox it will cause damage to the organs
I use the hose. When my dog was a puppy, I filled a plastic tub with water and used that like a little bath tub.
throw it in the bath.
It is possible but very unlikely. If a dog inhales the water then yes it will get into its lungs.
It depends on how much the animal ingested. Chlorine is a blister agent, but Clorox has a lower concentration of chlorine, so a small amount consumed should not be a problem. To be safe, give him/her a good amount of water and watch him. Clorox is also found in household items such as bleach and kitchen cleaners. it depends where the dog ingested the Clorox from and how much. If your dog is showing any signs of excessive drooling, vomiting, showing signs of abdominal pain, throat discomfort or laboured breathing, take him/her to vet right away.
bathe (JHappy321 says) yes bathe because if you used it in a sentence bath would be "Oh your giving your dog a bath?" and bathe would be "Wanna bathe the dog?"
It might take 50 gallons of water to wash a dog, or it might take 50 quarts to wash a dog. It depends on how much water you use, how big the dog is and how long their bath is.
Wash your dog with dog shampoo. DO NOT use human shampoo!!! It is too strong for dogs. Then rinse your dog w/ warm water. Dry your dog with a soft towel afterwards. If your dog detests baths, reward it with a doggy treat after it takes a bath; it will most likely start to enjoy baths and get used to them.
Muratic acid. Or however you spell it. 1/3 acid/ water. Do not use if it is sealed or stained.
According to the EPA website, drinking water can be sterilized with 2 drops of household bleach (Clorox) per liter. That's 7 drops per gallon, and in your particular case that's 105 drops for the 15 gallons. 2 ozs is a lot more than 105 drops, I'm pretty sure so let's go at this a different way. The above recommendation is using a ratio of 1:4000 (Clorox to water). 1 gallon has 128 ounces -- 15 gallons has almost 2000 ounces. So 2 ounces would be a ratio of 1:1000 -- that's 4 times too strong based on these guidelines. For 15 gallons a safer amount would be 1/2 ounce of Clorox. But will 2 ozs harm the dog? I don't know what the upper bounds are...doesn't matter how big the dog is -- it's the ratio of Clorox to water. Clorox will evaporate more quickly so maybe the concentration doesn't stay that high if you don't retreat it often.
If a dog needs a bath because it stinks, a good remedy would be to take the dog to a dog groomer for a bath. The dog groomer has a special harness that keeps the dog still during bathing.
