Demerol, or Meperdine as it's also called cannot be faxed to a pharmacy, Nor can it be Phoned in or E-Scribed. It must be written on a hard copy which in most states is an official prescription paper with at least 3 saftey features, it must also have the Prescribers DEA number their name and the name of the Patient along with the address of the Doctors practice. Demerol is a CII ( C2) Prescrition so it is highly regulated. Also CII prescriptions are only good for 6 months from the written date and can never have refills for any reason.

Can you refill Adderall before prescription states?

No. Adderall™ is classified as a CII narcotic, which means it cannot be refilled. Even if the doctor accidentally writes refills on the prescription, most pharmacy computer systems have a failsafe that prevents such "refills" from being processed. Furthermore, prescriptions for CII narcotics cannot be faxed or phoned into the pharmacy, and some states have laws requiring them to be filled within a certain amount of time (sixty, ninety days, etc.) from the date written, else it is considered invalid.

Can a notary public certify a document?

It all depends on what you will be using it for. A facsimile is not accepted for recording in most land records offices. Some judges will not accept a faxed copy of a document, such as a promissory note or check with a notation on the memo line. Many contracts are faxed but the parties should agree ahead of time and the faxed copies that go back and forth should contain a clause that they will be binding although faxed.

Can I take Paxil with Advil?

My therapist diagnosed me with coping disorder with acute anxiety and a touch of depression. She recommended Ativan for me, though she's not an MD, she wanted me to talk to my doctor. I talked to my doctor and she disagreed with putting me on Ativan. She recommended Lexapro. I went to the pharmacy and my insurance wound up not covering it (it was a hundred and something dollars!). They contacted my doctor and she faxed over an authorization for a generic prescription for Paxil.

Can a quitclaim deed be faxed for a signature?

No. An original signature page must be sent to the person who must sign. They must sign it before a notary and return the original for recording purposes. Law offices generally use an overnight service such as Fedex to hasten such transactions.

Does a faxed document signature need to be witnessed and is it legal to witness the signature when It is faxed back to you?

No, faxed signatures cannot be notarized or considered as valid and/or "legal" unless they can be witnessed in person. How do you REALLY know the person on the other end of the fax (or e-mail) is REALLY who they say they are?

Is facsimile document legally binding?

Your question lacks detail so the following is general information. It depends on the document and where it needs to be legally binding. Faxed documents are becoming more and more common and if they need to be used in court a faxed signature may be vulnerable depending on the issues. An original signature is always preferable. Some land records offices will not accept a faxed document for recording unless it is an exhibit to an originally signed document.Regarding legal documents in general there is no general rule. Good business dictates that if faxed documents are to be relied upon and the intent is for parties to be bound by those documents a separate statement to that effect should be made part of the package and clearly expresses in the documents.
