I have been playing Dungeons and Dragons for almost 6 years now, being both a player, a Dungeon Master, and, at times, both! It isn't a game that is harmful in anyway. Everyone hears about the crazy few who take things to an unreasonable level, but there are millions upon millions of others who can play it normally. the media loves to glamorize and place spot lights on the negative aspects of everything and anything. Dungeons and Dragons is truly a game that helps build self-confidence, Social skills, eloquency, and tickles the imagination, it's a way to escape the boring, menial task of day-to-day life and live in an adventure world for a few hours! I highly recommend finding people who play and sitting in on one of their sessions. I've found it truly helps clear up any concerns people may have about it. Good luck to you!
