Can El Castillo be visited

yes el castillo can be visited but cannot be climbed anymore because it was declared unsafe in 2006 but i think you can tour some of the inside but a lot of the rooms have been blocked off. i recommend going to see it on the spring or fall equinox because a shadow falls onto El castillo in the shape of a serpent as the sun sets a snake appears to wriggle down the steps until it finally joins the serpents head at the base of the staircase.
