A Ferret will form a very strong bond to it's owner, and if separated, some ferrets will become so depressed, will quit eating and die. As far as protecting it's owner like a dog would, I'm not sure.
Ferrets are usually awake depending on their owners
Where is Bangor
Some owners will feed chicks to their ferrets as part of a raw diet
Rottweilers are naturally protective towards their owners, as they are extremely loyal. I would not try to make them overly protective, as it could pose to be a problem in the future.
Ferrets are not caged animals, but you cage them for their protection. Most ferret owners cage ferrets when they're not at home or unable to supervise them when free roaming. Ferrets need about 4 hours daily time out of their cage in a ferret proofed environment. Ferrets being burrowing animals by nature are subject to crawl and fall asleep into places that can be dangerous and you cannot get them out, like in major appliances, couches, recliners (very dangerous for ferrets). I personally do not cage my ferrets, but keep them in a bedroom totally ferret proofed so they are safe
It's suggested not to let ferrets stay together when having babies. Most female ferrets are very protective of their babies and need to be isolated about a week prior to birth in a dark, quiet, secluded area so she can prepare a nest. If the ferret feels threatened that her babies may be harmed, she might cannibalize them.
Ferrets are only bred with other ferrets
The collective term for a group of ferrets is a "a business of ferrets" or "a cast of ferrets".
yes they were originally bred to hunt things and in some places to guard important figures.
Panda ferrets the same as other ferrets, just the coloring is different.
Not all dogs are protective. A few protective dogs would Be: Rottweiler, Doberman, German Shepherd, Pit Bull, Yorkie, Chorkie, Chiweenie, Some hairless dogs, And Chihuahua. Those dogs can be protective because they aggression issues or maybe Because they are just obeying their owners
Some dogs are very protective of their owners and attached to them. This is why some dogs feel they need to follow their owners everywhere they go even to bed.
