I was prescribed triamcinolone acetonide for my poison ivy, so I'm guessing the consensus in the medical field is that it does work. I am very allergic to poison ivy, and after 6 days, the rash has diminished but not disappeared. The intensity of the redness has lessened 4-5 shades, and it does not itch near as often, nor as badly. In my opinion, and apparently in my doctors opinion, it does work. It is a topical steriod, and steroids are often the prescription givin for poison ivy infection.
if it is consumed but topical application it is not poison
depending on the cut. triamcinolone acetonide is common poison ivy medicine, butalso works well on rashes or unknown bumps. If the cut is small then yes...
if it is consumed but topical application it is not poison
WHAT IS BACTRONBAN CREAM MUPIROCIN CALCUIM CREAM 2% USED FOR?... Its used to treat staf- skin infections like MRSA >>CAN THIS BE USED FOR POSION IVY? Yes you can use it on poison ivy, but I would not reccommend it because it is a very strong antibiotic; you should not use antibiotics unless you have an infection... why use a prescription if you don't need to Cortaid works just as well for poison ivy (not MRSA) and is over the counter.
i use this cream for dark spots on my face that i got exposing to the sun in Florida.
This sounds more like Impetigo to me.....go see your Dr. for some antibiotic ointment.

Yes if prescribed by a doctor. Dermatologists may prescribe oral prednisone or a topical steroid to help treat poison ivy. However, oral steroids are usually reserved for severe cases as it will usually resolve on its own with proper care.
Clobetasol Cream is a topical corticosteroid. It works by decreasing certain immune responses, which reduces redness and itching of skin, thus reducing itching, redness, and swelling associated with many skin conditions.
My dog just did the same thing this morning. I called poison control and they told me that the zinc oxide isn't able to be digested and that she most likely will vomit. She did, 4 times! But now she is fine and the poison control person said there is nothing to worry about!
"Unction" is an oil or ointment; a "mountebank" is a charlatan or quack who sold patent medicines, so the unction of a mountebank is some concoction sold by this quack. In the context of Hamlet (which I am guessing inspired this question), this is specifically an extremely deadly poison.
