Freddy Krueger manipulates peoples dreams, so if it is cohesive to that present dream state, then yes.

Freddy Kruger was a child killer, known as The SpringWood Slasher. He was sent to trial for the murders but got off on a technicality (Because of lack of a warrant). Rather than let him go free, the parents hunted him down to the boiler room/basement of the local elementary school where he used to take his victims. They burned him in the boiler room but kept his glove as a reminder. In the original films, Freddy was just a child killer, not a molester/pedophile. At first, writer/director Wes Craven planned on making him a pedophile, but after awhile he changed his mind and decided against it. This idea was resurrected -- against Craven's wishes -- in the new 2010 remake. The new remakes portray Freddy as both a molester and killer, and the school has been renamed to Bedham Preschool, where he was a groundskeeper who lived in the basement. To give you a little history on Freddy's early life... His mother was a nun (Sister Mary Helena, but later called Amanda), and worked at Our Lady Of Sorrows mental Asylum ran by the church. AFter going in to give food to the worst of the inmates, she was accidently locked in the asylum by a guard and was repeatedly rapped by 100s of crazies (Freddy is taunted as The Son Of 100 Maniacs as a young boy). Like all serial killers he was abused, neglected and enjoyed killing animals and worked his way up to killing people
No. However, he was conceived through rape. His mother somehow got locked into a mental institution for the criminally insane. She was raped repeatedly all night long by these monsters, and nine months later she gave birth to Freddy. I know, I know, it's a very silly, very contrived backstory. It's like something a 12 year-old would come up with. But...that's the official story. Originally he was supposed to be a child molester, but they decided to change that aspect of the character because, at the time the movie was made, there was an extremely high-profile child molestation case going on, and the filmmakers did not want to be accused of basing the Freddy character on that particular criminal.

In Illinois, certain felony convictions can be expunged or sealed, which limits access to them on background checks. Employers are prohibited from considering arrests that did not result in convictions for hiring decisions. However, certain positions, such as those in law enforcement or working with vulnerable populations, may still have access to sealed or expunged records.

Rule #1: They can't kill anybody. So don't ask. Rule #2: They can't make anybody fall in love with anybody else. Rule #3 They can't bring people back from the dead. It's not a pretty picture. They don't like doing it!
Mothers do allow other people in some circumstances to chastise their children; sometimes there are people who take on a parental role while the actual parents are not there. However, this is not something that just anybody is welcome to do. Parents want to remain in control of their children's upbringing. Children have to conform to their parents' wishes, not to the wishes of anybody who might want to express an opinion.
