-maybe it time to call the pro's
no you will need to call someone to fix it
Any air conditioning service person, it is a large part of the job.Believe it or not I find locating them more difficult most times than fixing them.
If you mean that it is not coming on (no power) then check the power transistor for the rear air/heat unit. I had to get mine replaced...around $100.00 at the dealer.
You cant fix the air conditioner
An air conditioning unit that does not blow cold air definately warrants a repair. With central a/c units, they do not run on a battery, but are powered by electricity. Mobile units may need repairs too, and will be cheaper to fix.
You Can't
Most air conditioning systems on the market today do not get rid of unwanted odors, instead many absorb the smell. However, if this becomes an issue there are many inexpensive ways to fix this problem. Regular cleaning of the air conditioning unit is one way to prevent odors from happening.
