Of course you can , don't think that it's going to get lonely or anything , because well... it won't , a guinea pig's lifestyle isn't complex , they concentrate more on food and rest .
Trust me , one guinea pig is a lot of a work for a little animal, you might not think so but it needs a lot of caring. So... basically it'll have you , so it won't get lonely or anything.
Please don't make the mistake of buying a female and a male , unless you put them in separate cages , but it won't change anything because the males will smell the female's presence and it will agitated and excited.
And if you do decide to put them in the same cage , you're gonna end up with 16 guinea pigs like I did , and it's complicated to take care of , and it's just nasty. So please take my advice and get just ONE. If you don't want crazy guinea pigs fighting with each other ( and it will cause deaths ) please fallow this and you'll be fine.
not necessarily; if you leave one guinea pig in the cage with the sick guinea pig, the guinea pig that is not sick can get sick; you should separate them just to be safe but if the guinea pigs start to get lonely, put them back together
It is spelled "guinea pig". You got it right! :)
The guinea-pig that is "shivering" is just simply telling the other one to BACK OFF
no u should not sponge your 1 mounth old guinea pig just lather the guinea pigs hair and rinse it off then wala clean guinea pig
What if your Guinea Pig has just had a baby - what call a vet or what?
when my guinea pig had babies i held her and she was fine
Actually rabbits an guinea pigs are fine together. But maybe the female guinea pig is felling lonely being the only kind in the cage. Or maybe its because the rabbit just doesn't like the guinea pig. If it's possible you can try getting another female guinea pig or separating the the guinea pig and rabbits.
A guinea pig only has one heart.
Because they are cute and if you are wanting a guinea pig you will need to take that big responsibility but before you buy one you need all of the stuff first. If you don't know what to call your guinea pig(s) just go to the website: Top 50 guinea pig names; and then click on the top one or any of them.
they do not i have a pet guinea pig and for one they are not long enough and some are just to fat!
I would just give my guinea pig "love".
Take you guinea-pig to the vet - if they are experienced they should be able to tell if your guinea-pig is preggers or not.
