Yes. The hotel keeper's act states that a guest may be evicted with no notice if one of the following has been observed:
You do not have to pay for your own eviction, and if you are given such a charge, I would advise you not to pay it. However, if you were evicted because you have damaged hotel property, that is another matter. You are liable for damage that you cause.
See the attached link - for a website that finds hotel rooms at short notice.

can you see if someone is registered at ahotel without them knowing and without them calling the hotel
You can't. I don't believe you can... not legally at least.
Yes, you can play Hotel 626 without a webcam or mic.
Legally you must be 18 years of age to make a legal contract which, technically, is what renting a hotel room is.
People are not asked for a marriage license when they check into a hotel. It is not their business to know if you are or are not married. Just be cool.
You can get a discount on a times square hotel by booking through www.hotwire.com. They are great for last minute bookings.
Call the Division of Housing at 718 739 6400. Find out if your hotel room is regulated; you must provide the hotel's address. If it is regulated then, you have the same rights as a tenant who lives in a regulated apartment building. In short, you can never be evicted provided that you pay your rent and also that you cause no damage or threat to the proprty or its tenants. (This is the law currently.) If you are not regulated then the hotel owner can evict you without cause. There must be some time allowance however for you to prepare yourself to vacate - I'm not very knowledgable about unregulated units.
Sue the company for illegal eviction. It doesnt matter that the property was forclosed upon or not, they HAVE to go through the eviction process to remove all tenants from a unit, PERIOD. So, you could sue them for damages, like moving expenses, or if you had to take an apartment that you normally would not have, but since you were litterally thrown out you took the first one available, or if you could not find an apartment on such short notice and were forced to live in a hotel or temporary housing, THOSE are all damages that would be included and any other damages you incurred due to their illegal eviction. Good luck.
So people staying there can eat without leaving the hotel
