It all depends if the mount on the dot is a dovetail (11mm) or a weaver mount. Most red dots have weavers and are 30mm diameters, so no, it won't fit unless you can get adapters, or switch the mounts.
No it won't fit.You need a real pellet gun scope to fit on a pellet gun. Actually, yes they can. as long as both have the same base/rail mount. You cane buy Weaver to dovetail or dovetail to weaver accesories to swith them in and out. They even have quick detach rings and bases. Anything is possible nowadays if you just do some research b4 you buy:)
Follow the instructions provided with the scope/mount. You need to make sure you have a scope with rings that will fit on a "Dovetail" scope base rail. They have 3 main bases; dovetail- mostly for air and pellet guns...some 22's also, Weaver style, and Piccatini rail systems.
Mount for a scope.
yes, it has a standard 3/8" dovetail mount.
I have not tried this particular combination, but the 459 is the same size as a regular 22 scope mount. (I own 2 of them) I've mounted scopes on both of these mounts and I see no reason why the Gamo 650 shouldn't fit.
It has an 11 mm dovetail mount so any 11 mm scope mount will fit
It is possible But do i need to buy a dovetail, or a mount?
You need a Weaver Side Mount #2 (which is the base). Weaver also make 1" side mount rings that mount onto this base. That's what I have on my .222 Savage 340.
Yes it has an 11mm Dovetail scope mount
the rifle has a dovetail mount for a scope built into the design.
weaver refers to the type of scope mounts the scope uses. a weaver scope can mount on any rail size.
