yes any ps2 game will play on any ps2
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
an American ps2 game will NOT work on an Australian ps2, as the Australian ps2 will read that it is from a different region and not allow it to run.
as well as this, the picture will not be 100% as US games use NTSC format, while Australian games use PAL.
you can get a modification chip though...
Yes, the PS3 is region free. Meaning that it doesn't matter where you get your games from, they will play on your ps3. Although i don't suggest buying a game from Japan because not all games have the option of changing the language to your desired language.
No you can not. It is not about the region. It is about the USA games being developed for the USA system of TVs. They are not compatible with the AUS TVs and are not compatible with AUS games so even if you use a USA TV you would not be able to go online. Australia and New Zealand SDTV Region is PAL and different from the USA SDTV region of NTSC and not the same as the DVD or Blu-Ray region codes. PS3s are actually different because of their special support for their country and SDTV region (NTSC or PAL and the games for those consoles must also have differences that prevent interchangability
Yes you can. The PS3 is region-free, meaning you can play games from any region with a console from any region. However, DLC is region locked. So if you play American games, you have to use American DLC.
Sadly, you can't. PS2 games are region locked, and so is the DVD playback for the PS3. You will need PAL games, US games are NTSC/U.
No. American games are in a format called NTSC. Australian and New Zealand, as far as I know, are on a different format called PAL. sorry bud.
most likely not because of the pal part but you can try
Yes you can play any PS3 game on any PS3 console, be it from Japan, America or Australia
that depends on what the gb is if you have a 60 or 80 gb you could play ps2 games on your ps3 other gb consoles work on ps1 games or only ps3 games
No
play outside, play video games
No, the American games will not play in Ireland if your using the Ireland consolle but if you purchase the American console and take it to Ireland it will easily play all the games that you purchased is America ( the American console will not play the games the you purchased in Ireland) If you have more questions message me.
u shouldn't at all it give u bad eyesight!
The related link is a list of a couple thousand games with links to more information about each game
No you can not get a chip, the PS2 could not read PS3 blue-Ray game discs and could not play them if it could read them. A PS3 is the only game console that can play PS3 games.
If Australian games are the region PAL then yes.
yes you can because Australian ps3 games are PAL, AU,NZ,UK so you can play games from UK on your Australian console i have heaps of UK games that i have purchased of the internet and they work just fine on my Australian ps3
yes you can i have many format 2 games that play on my Australian ps3
No, the Nintendo Wii is region locked so North American games will not work on an Australian console
As far as I know yes.
It's possible but your Xbox works only with games that have the new Zealand regional code
all PS3 Products will work where ever you are.
No you cannot play games on consoles made for different regions. You can only play games on the consoles made for a specific region. If you attempt to play games cross region it will simply not play.
if the game and console are PAL it should be alright and i think the UK and Australia are both PAL regions so it will probably work
the only difference between the consoles is how to plug the console into the tv and the wall, other than that there is no difference at all between the styles, im Australian and i play games from America on my ps2
You don't. Games are designed for a console and do not play on a different console
no you can not
