I assume you are referring to US Governement bonds. (EE or I-bonds). Currently, you cannot use a credit card to purchase bonds. They use to allow credit cards, but they discontinued it because they had to pay the extra credit card processing fees. Now you have to open an account with them through the Treasury Direct program and link your checking or savings account in order to purchase bonds from them. Or you can use your stock brokerage account to buy bonds as an alternate means.
There are several online websites that offer payments of bonds with credit cards. Some banks may also offer the option of paying for a bond with a credit card.
