This depends on whether or not the Senior Supervisor is also an Advanced Supervisor. Senior Supervisors are those who oversee top-level categories such as Animal Life or Entertainment & Arts. Advanced Supervisors are those who work in the catch-all categories organizing and deleting questions which don't belong on the site. Advanced Supervisors are also given a few more extra powers such as the ability to edit profiles and other things.
So, some Senior Supervisors have the ability to edit profiles, and some do not.

Advanced Supervisors have the ability ("advanced powers") to delete questions from the database permanently and edit profiles, among other things. Most Senior Supervisors have advanced powers (but not all), and many Advanced Supervisors are not Senior Supervisors.

Users cannot lock an answer. The site is a joint effort of all contributors, so anyone can edit any answer, as long as they follow the site guidelines. Only Supervisors and Community Assistants can "lock" a question.
How do you fix someone else's profile?
Editing Other Users' ProfilesRegistered users may only edit their own profile page. They do not have access to edit another user's profile, for obvious reasons such as vandalism. Only Community Assistants and certain Advanced Supervisors have access to edit other users' profiles.

Does anyone check your answers to verify they are correct?
Yes, we have a lot of dedicated contributors and supervisors that are on the website a lot that love to edit questions, answers (if there is a grammar problem or the answer is incorrect). It does take time to get to all of them though but they all do their best.
Can you change questions on this site?
Changing the way questions are worded is a tool only given to "Trusted Contributors". This is because sometimes questions may require merging, splitting, and other advanced things done to them. To become a "Trusted Contributor" you need to demonstrate your commitment and knowledge of all the sites tools.
