It would be nearly impossible. A whale shark's prey is krill -- they don't eat small fish, let alone humans. In fact it is impossible to get swallowed by a whale shark. Despite the large size of their mouths, their throat is only about the size of a quarter. Having Scuba dived with them before, I can safely say they pose no danger to humans.
