These animals are insectivores and have no venom whats so ever. They are great fly catchers and having one or two around will not put you in harms way. It may keep your house free of insects

It is more likely that a centipede will kill a gecko. Most gecko species average a length of 6-8". A giant centipede would have no issues eating a gecko this size.
