Can You Get Any Kanto Starter Pokemon In Emerald?

You cannot catch a bulbasaur or any of the starter Pokemon from kanto or johto in Pokemon emerald. These Pokemon must be traded over from Pokemon versions leaf green and fire red. I wish starter Pokemon could be found in the wild, it would be so much better. :)

You trade it from Emerald, Sapphire, Fire red, Leaf Green, Soul Silver or any from Kanto or Hoenn. Or, you can first migrate Pokemon from Kanto or Hoenn and the enter Pal Park. You can find one there.It worked on mine dude.!!!!

You can only get a Charmander or any of the Kanto starters from Pokemon Leafgreen and Firered version. You will have to trade these pokemons into your Ruby, Sapphire ,Emerald, Diamond ,Pearl ,Plantimun, Heartgold and Soulsilver.

I don't think there is any way to get to another region in Emerald, Sapphire, or Ruby. I've got all three and beaten them all, and I can't get to Kanto or Johto in any of them. You can get ONE Johto starter, though. When you complete your Hoenn Dex, talk to Birch and he will give you a choice of three pokemon as a reward. They will be Cyndaquil, Chikorita, and Totodile-- the three Johto starters.

You have to go into the grass patches (special hint: if you have walk-through walls cheat code, you can get missingo) then professor oak will take you to his lab then pick your starter! They are bulbasaur charmander and squirtle. No, you can't catch them, but you will obtain the starter Pokemon (only Kanto, Johto, and Hoenn) in the HG/SS game and only one Pokemon each. You will obviously, automatically receive the Johto starter in the beginning of the game. You will get the Kanto starters after you defeat all the gym leaders in Kanto. After you defeat Red, you will have the chance to have the Hoenn starters. But to get all of them, your best bet is migrating them from Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald, FireRed or LeafGreen. You Will Get Only 1 Pokemon Starter's From each Region. Johto at the beginning of the game. Kanto Starters after you defeat all 16 Gyms. and Hoenn Starters After Defeating Red. There aren't any wild Eevees in Pokemon Emerald, so they only way you can get one is by trading one from Pokemon Firered or Leafgreen to Emerald.

to complete the game you need to trade for fire-red or leaf-green . to trade you need a link cable. to make trading easier get 2 game-boys 1pokemon emerald,1 Pokemon fire-red or 1leafgreen ,1 link cable. to get all 3 starter Pokemon in fire-red start a new game and trade the starter Pokemon then do it again until you get the fire type ,water type, and grass type in Pokemon emerald then start a new game 1 last time and capture any Pokemon you see and trade them to Pokemon emerald but don't make them evolve .just don't do it you will thank me.

You can not get a dawn stone in Pokemon Emerald. Infact, the dawn stone is not avalible in any of the Gameboy versions of Pokemon.
