Regardless of the size needed by the heater, the car's alternator will be the limiting factor. If you oversize the inverter to more than the alternator can handle you may burn out the alternator. Heaters consume allot of amperage.
160 amps is more than ample to run a 100 amp inverter.. what you need to look at is the required input amperage of the inverter and compare that to what's present in the circuit it's wired/plugged into. In most cases, you should be able to run up to a 400 amp inverter plugged into a 12v outlet, but again, you need to make sure.

Well, that all depends on the voltage of both the inverter and the charger. As long as the output of the inverter is the same voltage as the input on the charger, you should be fine. Example: Normal scooter charger is 110 volts. Inverter is a 12V DC to 110V AC inverter. (the type used to watch a household TV while in a car) and your scooter charger normally plugs into a wall socket in your house, this will work fine. If the inverter you have is one that turns 110V AC to 12V DC, then you will have a problem.
The easiest way, and probably the cheapest by the time you're done, is to buy an alternator conversion kit. Because 1967 is the first year of the 12v system, IF your car was 12v from the factory (look in the driver's doorjamb for a "12v" sticker) you won't have to change the radio, bulbs and battery.

The same as any modern car, i.e. when the engine is not running, 12v power is supplied by the vehicle battery, but with the engine running, 12v power is supplied by the alternator.
