If you are between 17 - 21 years old in the UK then you are restricted to a motorcycle which has an output of no more than 33bhp e.g Kawasaki Ninja 250R for two years. However if you become over 21 while still within you're 2 year restriction then you can take the accelerated access test which on sucessful completion you will be unrestricted and able to ride any motorcycle of your choice.
