Yes, of course. You are a minor and they. whether or not they are a minor, are aiding you. Either or both of you can be punished.
If the person you ran away with is an adult, then I can pretty well assure you, they are in trouble if caught. That being said, I cannot dismiss the notion that the reason for running away was not without reason or cause. If this is true, and you suffered from abuse, you really should seek help from the authorities. Running away haphazardly is not going to solve your problems, but actually may increase them.

∙ 15y agoMaybe but I would be just so pleased that you came home I would forget about it until you were ready to talk. I suppose you would not feel like running away if you were mine though. I do not think you would be in trouble so much with the law because their input would just involve finding you and returning you home. At 18 you will be free to do what you like anyway.
