If the 17 year old's parents agree to it, then they can if they want. But by law in most places if you are under 18 years old you still must obey your parents when it comes to things like this.

It will require a parents signature, unless they are married. Otherwise they must be at least 18.

If a parent has bad credit can they still rent an apartment for their 17 year old?

Yes but it might not be one where the apartment is managed by a Real Estate company or other management. You can easily rent one in a house where the landlord also lives. That's because a management company will check your credit report.

you rent an apartment that costs $1300 per month during the first year, but the rent is set to go up 9.5% per year. what would be the rent of the apartment during 11th year living in the apartment?

2658.5 11 x 9.5 = 104.5 100% of 1300 is 1300 (1300 + 1300 = 2600) 4.5% of 1300 is 58.5 (2600 + 58.5 = 2658.5) Rent would be 2658.5 the 11th year

In most cases, a parent cannot sign a lease on behalf of a 17-year-old. Most states require tenants to be 18 or older to enter into a legally binding contract such as a lease. However, some landlords may make exceptions if the parent is willing to co-sign the lease or provide additional guarantees.
