yes it is wrong, this is called statutory rape. Considering the simple fact the in most states it is illegal then yes. Also you have to consider the complete difference in maturity, education, life stages etc...I think they should at least wait till they have both gone through puberty. Now the 10 year old is halfway innocent because he/she is being rebelious and wants to date someone who is older just to look cool most likely. The 18 year old unless something is seriously mentally wrong should no better than to even consider this type of relationship. In my opinion it is disgusting and unexceptable. The parents should step in immediatly

i think it is, with the age difference of 6 years. It would be different if the 2 people were fully grown, but in the case of 12 and 18 years old, it is too great a difference. [the 18 year old being almost an adult and the 12 year old being not even a teen]

It is not acceptable in American culture and is against the law. Our society looks down on this activity, with the older person being thought of as a child molester.

No it is inappropriate for a seventeen year old to be interested in that way in a ten year old. The seventeen year old needs counseling and to be closely monitored.
