Yes, but without a donor car for all the parts you will need, it would be a very expensive conversion. Ford did sell some manual transmission equipped Torino's in 1968. Finding one may be a problem.
Ford Torino was created in 1968.

I would say no , there is no listing for a 1965 Torino on the Ford website
It is not that hard to replace a fuel pump in the 1970 Ford Torino.
The 1970 Ford Torino was designed by Ford stylist Bill Shenk. IMO, one of the most beautiful Fords every built.

1973 Ford Gran Torino The Dude's car is a 1973 Ford Gran Torino. DaFino the PI drives a VW Beetle.
1971 was the last year Ford used the Fairlane name. As Ford began to phase in the Torino name in 1968 to replace the Fairlane, the Fairlane was still offered up through 1971 but in the only selected standard models. The 1970/1971 body style was a new style and shape which was commonly viewed as a Torino although Ford did use the Fairlane name on the lower end economy model.
No.
I have the original owners manual for a Ford 1968 Thunderbird. I scanned an image of the diagram and posted it here: http://www.opensourceopportunities.com/Ford-Thunderbird-1968-fuse-diagram.jpg
