There should be about 8 bolts under the bed and the wiring harness
It could be the fule pump or the wiring harness for the fule pump.
What you need is an alternator wiring pigtail harness from the dealer!
Disconnect the brake lines and wiring harness from it and put the new one in. YOU will need to bleed the brakes after your done. Make sure to disconect the battery of the truck before you unplug the wiring harness
YOU either shorted something out and blew a fuse (check the fuse block) or you totally destroyed your cars wiring harness...joke.
You can remove the steering will, on your Ford Ranger pickup truck, by removing the steering wheel pin. Remove the wiring harness and the steering wheel will come off.
It won't start.
