no they can't
in most areas of the country, middle school starts in either 6th grade (when most kids are 11 years old) or 7th grade (when most kids are 12 years old). Some places have it starting in 5th grade when kids are 10.
11-12th or out of hight school in college
Neither. A high school covers 9th grade (14 years old) through 12th grade (18 years old). A college goes beyond those grades. Harry and his friends are 11 years old. (6th grade, for Americans) years old. They "graduate" when they are 17 years old (8th grade). So they are at Hogwarts from middle school through high school.
If the boy/girl started school late, 4th grade If the boy/girl started school early, 6th grade If the boy/girl started school on time, 5th grade
Typical students in the United States education system on average are just becoming teenagers. 6th graders on average are around 11 or 12 years old, 7th graders being 12 or 13, and 8th graders being around 13,14, sometimes even 15. This is the overall average and does not factor in if a student has advanced a grade early or has been held back to repeat a grade.
If a person is grade 10, 11, or 12, he/she is in high school. High school contains four grades; ninth grade, tenth grade, eleventh grade, and twelfth grade.
It depends on if someone started school on time, was left back or skipped any grades. It usually corresponds to Junior year. But there can be 16 year old Sophomores (if they have birthdays before the end of the school year) and 16 year old Seniors at the start of the school year if they have Fall birthdays.
usually 5th or 6th grade. Could possibly be anywhere from 4th to 7th grade. Normally, you should turn 11 sometime during your 5th grade year, and then begin 6th grade at 11 too. But if a child ever got held back a year, then they will turn 11 in 4th grade. Or, if a child skipped a grade, or if their state has an unusually late cutoff date for starting school (thus allowing some 4 year olds to start kindergarten, rather than requiriing everyone to be 5 within the first few days of school starting) then they may still be 11 when they are starting 7th grade.

She is in 6th grade so I'm guessing 11 or 12 years old.
The 7th grade in the UK is Year 8 ;)
Well I was 10/11 in grade 5.It could be different for every one like when your birthday is.If your born in January then you will most likely be 10/11 but if your born in December then you will most likey be 9/10 and be 11 in grade 6 if you don`t fail.It also depends how old you were when you started kindergarten or grade 1.If you were born in January and started school at the age of 6 then you should be 10/11.It can also be different by if you have ever failed a grade because you could 11/12 and depending on your birthday, ever fail a grade and how old you were when you started school that will change grade.
