It depends on where you are. In the U.S. 11 year old children cannot own a handgun, but it is legal under federal and most states' laws to possess the handgun for legal purposes such as hunting and target shooting.
Yes. Virginia law does not prohibit a person at least 18 years of age from POSSESSING a handgun. However, FEDERAL law will not permit you to PURCHASE a handgun OR handgun ammunition until you are 21. Virginia law does permit certain person UNDER 18 to possess a handgun in limited circumstances (permission of parents, instructional class, etc)
In the U.S. it depends on the state. In some states, someone under 21 can own a handgun, but in some, they cannot. However, people under 21 can possess handguns for other legal reasons (like home self defense or target shooting) in almost every state...maybe every state.
Depends on the law where you live- varies state to state. In many states you must be 21 to possess a handgun.
Which handgun law? Georgia, as well as every other state, has hundreds of handgun laws.
No. You are a minor and must stay at home with parents.

Depends on the laws where you are- we get questions from SEVERAL nations, and laws vary. In the US, it will vary by state. The issue is not so much "can a minor own a handgun" as it is "Can a minor POSSESS a handgun?" Surprisingly, the answer MAY be yes- with the permission of the Minor's parents, on their own property, or in some instances, when the minor has the written permission of the parents. In some places, a 15 yr old may be working on a ranch, and be permitted to carry a handgun. While I would like to be able to give you a definitive yes/no answer, there are too many variables to do so. Sorry-

Two purchase a rifle, you must be at least 18, and to purchase a handgun, you must be at least 21, but minors can possess guns for legal purposes like hunting and target shooting in (at least most) states in the U.S.
