yes but voltage will be out a little.
This ok for something like a heater which wont care.
But for an electric motor starting and overheating maybe a problem.
In the US this would be 220v single phase and 208 volts 3 phase.

What is a battery method of a single phase transformer?

Connect a VOM to one winding. Momentarily connect a battery to the other winding. When the battery makes contact, a pulse will occur on the other winding. If the pulse is positive, then the terminal connected to the plus lead is in phase with the lead connected to the battery.

To connect a pair of resistors so that their equivalent resistance is greater than the resistance of either one should you connect them in series or in parallel?

When many resistances are connected in series, the equivalent resistance is greater than the greatest single resistance. When many resistances are connected in parallel, the equivalent resistance is less than the smallest single resistance.

A circuit in which all the devices are connected in a single path is called?

A series circuit is one is which all current is restricted to one path. A good example of a device that is series-connected is a circuit breaker.

What is the difference between single pole mcb and double pole mcb?

A single pole circuit breaker can protect one hot wire to a given load where as a two pole circuit breaker can protect two hot wires to a given load. In the North American system this would equate to 120 volts on a single pole circuit breaker and 240 volts on a two pole circuit breaker.

How can I connect a single-phase - 2 hot wires plus ground- 220V load to a 3-pole 220V breaker?

Common usage of a three pole breaker is for use on a three phase distribution panel. Single phase distribution panels only use two pole breakers for a 240 volt load.Remember that the breaker must protect the conductors that connect to the load. If you want to try and use a three pole breaker in a single phase panel just because you have the breaker, this is not a good idea even if it will fit.Purchase the proper single phase two pole breaker to match the wire size and the amperage of the connected 240 volt load. Keep in mind that connected 240 volt motor loads have to be sized to 250% of the motor's full load amperage.By doing what you want to do and a fault occurs from this type of installation your insurance company might not cover the damage that it would cause. If the distribution panel is three phase then just connect the two load wires to any two of the three poles on the breaker.

What is the different between modem and router?

A modem is a device that allows a single computer to connect to the internet, it requires a username and password to connect usually. A router connects multiple computers and is always connected. It does NOT require a username or password to connect to the internet. Routers can also be wireless, whereas modems can not.

What is a centralised database?

A centralised database is a single database under the control of a single Database Management System. All users and client applications connect directly to the DBMS. This means that the database is stored in only one location and everyone in the system is directly connected to it. Unlike a distributeddatabase which is a set of connected databases stored on multiple computers that appears to users as a single database.

What happens if you accidentally reverse the wiring in a light switch?

A single pole, single throw light switch simply interrupts the electrical current. It makes absolutely no difference which way you connect the wires, it will still interrupt a circuit when connected in series.
