That is exceedingly rare. But then it is possible, theoretically.
With composition shingles, no felt is necessary between shingle layers. When the exposure of the shingles is the same as the old exposure, the bottom edge of the old shingles is used as a guide for the upper edge of the new shingles in placement. This ability to place the shingles would be lost if covered with felt.
yes you can place new shingles over old shingles as long as the first layer of shingles are not curled....you will need 1 1/4 - 1 1/2 roofing nails..and 2 courses is the limit...follow same procedure as first roof installation
If they have been kept out of the sun and weather you should still get your moneys worth out of them.
A fifty year old who does not recall a history of chickenpox should be vaccinated for chickenpox or for shingles. Contact your health care provider for advice specific to your situation. Some insurance companies will not pay for shingles vaccine until age 60; otherwise, that would normally be your first choice.
Shingles, which is an inflammation of nerve endings in the skin, is not normally fatal. It is however extremely painful and somewhat debilitating and, in connection with other conditions an elderly person might have, could put them at risk.
20 year = 4 to a square. 30 year = 3 to a square. Most 20 year are also 3 bundles per square

Its mainly common in men and women over 50 but from experience, 11 year olds can get it too! ( yes i am 12 and i had shingles at the start of year 7). the only reason young people get it is if they had chicken pox under the age of 1 year old and it hasn't completely gone away.Sources?i did some research after i had it to see what it was
You catch shingles in old age because you had chicken pox as a child. Children catch chicken pox from other children with chicken pox or from old people with shingles. While no one inherits shingles, it may seem that way because children who caught chicken pox from their grandparents with shingles will give chicken pox to their grandchildren when they get old and get shingles unless the grandchildren get a vaccination for chickenpox.
After 2 year, I guess
Yes, but that is a long time to have for. Shingles are caused by the varicella virus (the same one that causes chicken pox). If you've never had chicken pox, you can't get shingles. (I'm a doctor)
